The promotion and preservation of a safe working environment, the control of pollution and environmental protection are of fundamental importance in the conduct of Henry Paul Construction’s daily operations.
We maintain records of safe, responsible activity by careful planning, organisation, monitoring, control, training and the application of the best trade practices and codes of conduct.
The risks to employees, contractors and all others who may be affected by the activities of Henry Paul Construction will be assessed, reviewed as required and arrangements made to eliminate or control risks. We will achieve this by regular consultation, providing health surveillance as required, arranging competent health and safety advice, instituting procedures to be followed in the event of imminent and serious danger, and identifying danger areas.
Henry Paul Construction has CHAS accreditation. CHAS is the Construction Health and Safety Scheme and association with CHAS is a company’s guarantee that Henry Paul Construction fully comply with all key legislation in connection with Health and Safety in the construction industry.
The prime purpose of CHAS really is to eliminate duplication of work. CHAS has already tested Henry Paul Construction and can confirm to any prospective client that we take health and safety very seriously. That prospective client has no need to confirm that we meet all of their own specific safety requirements, because the CHAS accreditation is confirmation of our compliance. See our certificate here.
